Move from one loop to a connected system

This course suits learners ready to work beyond basic pin control. It connects multitasking, wireless communication and device state so you can reason about several activities happening in the same system.

The published course level is intermediate and above. Familiarity with C, basic circuits and microcontroller programming is a useful starting point. Beginners can first discuss the embedded systems course.

In the lab

Make sensing and communication work together

The named capstone is an IoT Environmental Monitor. The syllabus builds toward it through tasks and synchronization, Wi-Fi and MQTT, Bluetooth communication, storage, OTA updates and power management.

  • Explain task priorities, stack use and communication through queues.
  • Choose when to use semaphores or mutexes for coordination.
  • Connect a device over Wi-Fi and publish data using MQTT.
  • Work with persistent settings, updates and power-management concepts.
Course planning

Know what to bring and what to ask

The course retains its ten-session structure and four hands-on projects. Board capabilities vary: Bluetooth Classic is supported by the original ESP32 but not ESP32-S3, so the Bluetooth Classic lab needs suitable ESP32 hardware. Ask about the exact board and tools before buying a kit.

Questions

Before you enquire

Is ESP-IDF used?

Yes. The syllabus includes ESP-IDF toolchain setup as well as Arduino IDE setup for ESP32.

Is FreeRTOS included?

Yes. Tasks, priorities, stacks, queues, semaphores and mutexes are explicit modules.

Does every listed board support Bluetooth Classic?

No. The original ESP32 supports Bluetooth Classic; ESP32-S3 supports Bluetooth LE. The relevant lab must use compatible hardware.

Where are classes held?

Training is offline at E52, Flatted Building, Opposite Jyoti Ceramic, Satpur MIDC, Nashik 422007. Weekday and weekend batches are available; enquire for the next schedule.

What are the fees and session timings?

Please contact the institute for current fees, session length, batch dates and hardware arrangements. These details are not published on this website.

Will I receive a certificate?

Ask the instructor about current completion and certificate terms before admission. No accreditation or placement guarantee is advertised here.
